The “Secret Morning Habit” That Turned My Terrible Days into Beautiful Ones (Takes Only 7 Minutes)

Hey Flautists,

I’m going to tell you about the one thing that will rewire your entire day. Every. Single. Time.

Here’s the magic 7-minute morning phrase

Raga Bhairav – just the first four notes, super slow:

Sa → Re (flat) → Ga → Ma

That’s it. No fancy stuff.

How I Do It (Copy-Paste This Into Your Morning)

Wake up → splash water on face → sit on bed or floor.

Pick up bansuri (still in pyjamas, messy hair = perfect).

Play Sa → Re(flat) → Ga → Ma… super slow, one note lasting 6–8 seconds.

Use gentle meend, let the notes slides from one to another.

Repeat the same four notes for exactly 7 minutes (set a soft timer).

When timer beeps, blow one final long Sa, smile, and start the day.

What Actually Happens (I'm Not Exaggerating)

Breathing becomes deep and calm before the world throws its chaos at me.

That tiny touch of Raga Bhairav (the morning raga of Shiva and deep prayer) sets a quiet, strong energy.

No matter what bad news or traffic or meeting comes later, I carry this little pocket of peace inside me.

Tonight --> Tomorrow Morning Exercise

Set an alarm 10 minutes earlier than usual.

When it rings, don’t think—just grab your bansuri and do the 7-minute Bhairav phrase.

Even if you only know three holes, even if you sound wobbly, even if you think “this is silly”… do it anyway.

Then come back here tomorrow and tell me one thing:

How did your day feel different?

I already know the answer, but I want to hear it from you.

You don’t need a perfect morning.

You only need 7 minutes and four slow notes.

That’s more than enough to turn any day beautiful.

P.S. Tag your friend who complains “mornings suck” and gift them tomorrow’s peace!
